Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 15, 2026
Memory Slot Games is committed to making this site usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or other assistive technology. We're working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and treat this as an ongoing effort rather than a finished project.
What we've done
- Color choices across the site were checked against WCAG's contrast requirements (4.5:1 for normal text) and adjusted where they fell short
- Every interactive element (buttons, links, form fields) has a visible focus indicator for keyboard navigation
- A "Skip to shop" link lets keyboard users bypass repeated navigation
- The shopping cart and condition-guide panels use proper dialog semantics (announced correctly to screen readers), keep keyboard focus contained while open, can be closed with the Escape key, and return focus to where you were when closed
- Icon-only controls (close buttons, quantity +/-, edit/delete) have text alternatives for screen readers
- Product images have descriptive alt text; decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology
- Status updates (cart confirmations, page loading, filter changes) are announced to screen readers, without re-announcing the entire product grid on every change
- Motion and animation are reduced automatically for visitors who have that preference set in their operating system
- The page uses semantic landmarks (nav, main, footer) so assistive technology can navigate by section
Known limitations
This site has not been independently audited or certified for accessibility. We've made the improvements above ourselves and tested them manually, but there may be issues we haven't found yet — particularly with older assistive technology or less common browser/screen-reader combinations.
Let us know
If you run into an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, please tell us — what page, what you were trying to do, and what happened. We'll do our best to fix it.

This statement describes genuine, specific improvements made to this site — it is not a certification of legal ADA/WCAG compliance. If full compliance certification matters for your use case, we'd recommend an independent accessibility audit.
